Minions at Work: A Photocomic

The essence of Number 2’s character is that he could be really evil, if it just weren’t so much frickin’ work. His devotion to minimal effort extends to pretty much all aspects of his life, including relationships (ex-wives have been mentioned) and apparently, lunch. He’s not dumb either, but creativity is also work, unless of course, it’s creativity applied to AVOIDING work.

I think this is one of those times that the picture came before the gag. I had created this torture chamber set for another gag (or maybe two) and decided to shoot some extra shots before I took it down, given that a lot of work had gone into it (lots of cool props here, including my working, all-metal, hydraulic engine hoist). I love these casual moments with the Minions just goofing off shooting the bull. Some of the best jokes are there in those quiet moments, I think.
